What counts as a VIP or luxury porta potty?

A VIP or luxury porta potty is any restroom that gives guests more than a basic unit: a flush, a sink, a mirror, more room and a cleaner look. Our options run from single-user flushing units with sinks to 2- to 4-stall luxury trailers. The VIP part is often the setup, not just the unit.

A VIP section is a small group of upgraded restrooms set apart from the main crowd. Brides, sponsors, performers, speakers and older guests use it. Everyone else uses the main bank of standard units.

This page covers single-user luxury units and how to run a VIP area. For full multi-stall trailers, see our restroom trailer rental page.

Single-user luxury unit or trailer: which fits your VIP area?

For a VIP group under about 50 people, 1 or 2 upscale single units usually fit best. They need no power and place almost anywhere. For larger VIP groups or formal receptions, a luxury trailer adds lights, A/C and multiple stalls, but it needs a 110V outlet and truck access.

Many hosts mix them. One deluxe unit near the bridal suite plus a trailer by the tent is a common wedding setup.

How do I set up a VIP restroom section?

A VIP restroom section takes 5 steps: pick a spot near the VIP area, choose upgraded units, add a handwashing station or units with sinks, light the path, and mark the area with signs. Keep it within about 15 feet of where our truck can park so service stays easy.

  1. Choose the spot. Near the VIP tent or backstage, but out of the main traffic flow.
  2. Pick units. Deluxe units with sinks, an accessible unit, or a trailer.
  3. Add handwashing. Units with sinks, or a 2-sink station next to the row.
  4. Light the path. String lights or lanterns for evening events. Our units do not light the path.
  5. Sign it. A simple "VIP restrooms" sign and a rope keep the line short.

Many hosts assign a staff member or volunteer to check paper and tidy the area during the event. We can stock extra rolls on request.

Which events use VIP restrooms?

VIP restrooms show up most at 4 kinds of events: weddings, festivals with backstage or sponsor areas, corporate and charity galas, and church or school milestone events. In each case, a small group needs a quieter, nicer restroom close by, while the crowd uses standard units placed farther out.

  • Weddings. The bridal party and older relatives. See wedding restrooms.
  • Festivals. Performers, sponsors and crew backstage. See festival porta potties.
  • Galas and fundraisers. Guests in formal wear.
  • Graduations and church milestones. Family members and honored guests.

How many VIP units do I need?

Size the VIP section on its own with the same chart: about 1 unit per 50 guests for a 4-hour event. A 40-person VIP tent for 4 hours needs 1 unit, but 2 feels better for VIP guests. Add 1 unit for every 4 when a bar is open nearby.

Then size the main crowd separately. A 200-guest wedding of 6 hours needs 5 standard units before the bar adjustment.

Public events still need wheelchair access. Each cluster, VIP included, should have at least 1 wheelchair-accessible (ADA-style) unit.

How are luxury units kept clean during the event?

Luxury units arrive clean, stocked and ready, and events of 1 to 3 days normally need no service visit. For multi-day festivals or events with heavy use, we add service stops to pump, clean, sanitize and restock. Rentals of 7 days or longer get weekly service included.

For one-day weddings, hand a helper spare paper and a small trash can. That handles most issues until pickup.

In Houston summers, July highs average about 93°F. Shade and closed doors keep units fresher.

When should I book VIP and luxury units?

Book VIP and luxury units as soon as your date is set, because there are fewer of them than standard units. Spring and fall Saturdays go first. For Saturday or Sunday events, we usually deliver Friday and pick up Monday at no extra day charge. Plans change, and you can cancel free with more than 24 hours of notice.

Far cities need scheduled delivery, booked 2–3 business days ahead. If you need a venue or city permit, apply early. Pasadena asks for 45 or more days for some special events.

VIP and luxury porta potty questions

These VIP and luxury porta potty questions come from wedding planners, brides, festival crews and gala hosts. They cover cost, power, looks and how to keep a VIP area separate. Call 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, to check which upscale units are open for your date.

What's the nicest porta potty you have for a wedding?

For single units, the deluxe flushing unit with sink and mirror. For more room, a luxury restroom trailer with A/C. Many couples use both.

How much is a fancy porta potty for the bridal party?

A deluxe flushing unit with sink starts from about $349–$475 per event. For a bigger step up, a 2-stall trailer starts from about $1,500 per weekend. Neither price includes tax.

Do the luxury ones need electricity?

Single deluxe units do not. Trailers need a standard 110V outlet. Some upscale cabins vary, so we confirm on your quote.

Can I keep regular guests out of the VIP restrooms?

Yes. Place them near the VIP area, add a sign and rope, and ask a volunteer to watch. A lock hasp is available for after-hours.

Will a luxury unit look out of place in photos?

Upscale units have a clean look. Set them to the side of the photo area and screen them with plants or drapes if you like.

Do you have someone to attend the restrooms during the event?

We do not supply attendants. We deliver units clean and stocked, and can add service stops for long events.

Can we get VIP units for backstage at a festival?

Yes. Backstage areas often use deluxe units or a small trailer. Tell us the crew size and event hours so we can size it.

Is there a luxury option for a guest in a wheelchair?

Our wheelchair-accessible (ADA-style) unit is the roomiest single unit, with grab bars and a 60-inch turning space. Trailers have steps.
