Delivery and same-day questions

Same-day porta potty delivery is available when you call by 12 p.m. (noon), Monday–Saturday, inside our roughly 25-mile Pasadena zone. Drivers run 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and call about 30 minutes before arrival. In 174 calls we reviewed, about 1 in 5 callers needed a unit today or tomorrow.

Can you deliver a porta potty today?

Yes, if you call by noon Monday–Saturday and a truck is open that day. A rush fee of about $75–$150 before tax may be added for same-day service. See how same-day delivery works.

What time is the cutoff for same-day delivery?

The cutoff is 12 p.m. (noon), Monday through Saturday. If you call later in the day, we normally book the next morning instead.

If I call this afternoon, can you bring it tomorrow?

Usually, yes. Afternoon calls inside our Pasadena zone are normally scheduled for next-morning delivery, Monday–Saturday.

What time will the driver show up?

We give you a delivery day, not an exact hour. Drivers run 7 a.m.–5 p.m., and the driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving.

Can you deliver at a set time, like 9 a.m. sharp?

We can't promise an exact time. You get a delivery day plus a heads-up call about 30 minutes out, so plan to have the spot ready that morning.

Do you deliver on Sunday?

No. We are closed Sunday, with no Sunday delivery or pickup. For a Sunday event, we deliver Friday or Saturday.

Can you deliver Friday and pick up Monday?

Yes. For weekend events, we normally drop Friday and collect Monday, and the extra days are free.

Can you drop it off the day before my party?

Yes, and we recommend it. A day-before drop gives you time to check the spot. It does not add a day charge for a normal weekend event.

Do you deliver on Saturday?

Yes, Saturday delivery is available. Saturday before noon is also the last same-day window of the week.

Do you serve my town?

We cover Pasadena plus Deer Park, La Porte, South Houston, Pearland, Baytown, League City and more. Check the service areas list or call with your ZIP.

Can you deliver to Sugar Land or Conroe?

Yes, as scheduled delivery. Farther cities like Sugar Land and Conroe should book 2–3 business days ahead; next-day is sometimes possible, so call to check.

How far do you go for same-day?

Same-day covers about 25 miles from our Pasadena yard, including Deer Park, Clear Lake, Webster, Friendswood, Kemah and southeast Houston.

Do you deliver at night?

No. Deliveries happen during driver hours, 7 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Saturday.

Will the driver call me before coming?

Yes. The driver calls about 30 minutes before arrival, so keep your phone handy on delivery day.

Pricing and fees questions

Porta potty prices start around $175–$249 per standard unit for a 1–3 day event, with delivery and pickup included inside our Pasadena zone. All figures are starting estimates before 8.25% sales tax. Your itemized quote shows the final price. In 174 calls we reviewed, hidden fees were the top price worry.

Is the $249 out the door or are there fees?

Do you charge extra for fuel or delivery?

Event rentals in our Pasadena zone include delivery and pickup. Long-term rentals add a one-time delivery/pickup charge of about $49–$99 by distance. Every charge is shown on your itemized quote.

How much is it for a month?

We bill by 28-day cycle, not calendar month: a standard unit with weekly service starts near $199 per cycle before tax. Only the first cycle adds a one-time trip charge of about $49–$99.

How much is it for a week?

A week or longer is billed on our 28-day cycle, starting about $199 with weekly service included. For a short job, ask us to quote both an event rate and a cycle rate.

Do you remove sales tax for nonprofits?

Yes, for tax-exempt groups. Send us your Texas exemption certificate before booking and we remove the tax from your quote.

Is there a senior discount?

We don't post a standing senior discount. Call and ask; the best savings usually come from the right unit count and rental length, which we'll help you pick.

Do you have anything cheaper?

The standard unit is our lowest-cost option. Friday delivery and Monday pickup for a weekend event avoids extra day charges, and ordering only the units you need keeps the total down.

Is it cheaper if I rent two?

Quantity is one of the five things that set price, along with distance, unit type, rental length and service frequency. Ask for a quote on both counts so you can compare.

What makes one quote higher than another?

Five things: location and distance, unit type, rental length, service frequency and quantity. In 174 calls we reviewed, fees not itemized up front added 15–20% to other quotes.

Is the price per day or for the whole time?

Event prices cover the whole 1–3 day rental, not per day. Long-term prices cover a full 28-day cycle.

Each tank gets deodorizing chemical, and standard units have a vent stack to move odor out. Weekly service on long rentals adds fresh chemical every visit.

Do you have anything nicer than a regular porta john?

Yes: the deluxe flushing unit with sink, VIP and luxury units, and restroom trailers. Browse everything on our rentals page.

How many uses before it fills up?

A standard unit is rated for about 200 uses between services (approximate). That is why our sizing chart adds units for longer events.

How many porta potties do I need?

One standard porta potty serves about 50 guests for a 4-hour event, a common industry guideline. Add 1 unit for every 4 when alcohol is served, and more as events run longer. In 174 calls we reviewed, about two-thirds of weekend-event callers needed just one unit.

How many do I need for 40 people?

One standard unit covers 40 guests for up to about 6 hours. For a long day with drinks, consider two. Run your numbers in our porta potty sizing guide.

How many for 150 people with a bar?

For 6 hours: 4 units plus 1 for alcohol, so 5 units. That's our standard worked example.

How many for 200 people?

Four units for 4 hours, five for 6 hours and six for 8 hours, before alcohol or food adjustments.

I heard 1 per 100 people. Is that right?

That only works for very short events. Callers told us they heard 1 per 40, 50 and 100 from different companies; we size at about 1 per 50 guests for 4 hours and adjust for time.

Do I need more if we're serving beer?

Yes. Add 1 unit for every 4 units, rounded up, when alcohol is served.

Do I need a hand washing station if we serve food?

We recommend 1 hand washing station per 4 units when food is served. See hand washing station rentals.

How often do you clean it?

Once a week on long rentals. Big crews or heavy use can add a second weekly visit.

Can you come twice a week?

Yes. Extra service visits, like 2x per week, can be added for large crews or heavy use. Extra visits show on your quote.

Does a 2-day party need a service visit?

Usually not. Event rentals of 1–3 days arrive clean and stocked and are sized so no service visit is needed.

What do you do on a service visit?

We pump the tank, clean and sanitize surfaces, restock toilet paper and sanitizer, and add fresh chemical.

Do I have to be there when you service it?

No. The service truck just needs access within about 15 feet of the unit; leave the gate unlocked or give us the code.

Do you service more often in summer?

Heavy-use sites often add visits in summer, when Houston highs average near 93°F in July. See our Houston heat servicing tips.

Where does the waste go?

Texas requires waste haulers to be registered sludge transporters, and waste goes only to authorized disposal sites. Read the TCEQ sludge transporter rules.

Can you pump my unit if it fills early?

Yes. Call and we'll add an extra service visit. If it keeps filling early, a second unit or 2x weekly service is the fix.

Rental length and billing questions

Porta potty event rentals cover 1–3 days. Rentals of a week or more bill on a 28-day cycle, not a calendar month. The first cycle includes the one-time delivery and pickup charge, and the rental renews until you call for pickup. Billing stops the day you request pickup.

Do you rent porta potties by the day?

Our shortest rental is an event rental covering 1–3 days at one price. We don't charge separate daily rates for short events.

Can I rent one for just a few hours?

We don't rent by the hour. A few-hour party uses our 1–3 day event rental, which includes delivery and pickup in our Pasadena zone.

How does monthly billing work?

We bill every 28 days. The rental renews each cycle until you call for pickup. See long-term rentals.

Why 28 days and not a month?

A 28-day cycle matches four weekly service visits exactly, so each bill covers the same service.

When does billing stop?

Billing stops the day you request pickup, even though the truck may come 1–2 business days later.

Can I keep it for a week?

Yes. A week-long rental includes weekly service. Ask for a short-term rental quote and we'll show the best option.

Can I keep it for six months?

Yes. Long-term rentals renew every 28 days with weekly service until you call for pickup.

Do you have seasonal rentals?

Yes, for sports seasons, farms and similar needs. See seasonal porta potty rentals.

Where can a porta potty be placed?

A porta potty needs firm, level ground within about 15 feet of where our truck can park, so the service hose reaches. The truck needs about 10 feet of clear width with no low wires or branches. A standard unit is about 44 inches wide, so backyard gates need a 48-inch opening.

Do I have to be home for delivery?

No. Show the driver where to put it with a cone, flag or ribbon, then unlock the gate or share the code.

Will it fit through my backyard gate?

It needs a gate opening of 48 inches or wider for hand placement, since a standard unit is about 44 inches wide. Measure before you call. More tips are in our placement guide.

Can you put it in the backyard?

Yes, if the gate is 48 inches or wider, the path is firm and the unit stays within about 15 feet of where the truck can park for service.

Can it go on the street or curb?

We place on private property by default. Street or right-of-way placement may need a city permit; call the City of Pasadena Permit Department at 713-475-5575 to confirm.

Can it go on my driveway?

Yes. A driveway is firm, level and easy for the truck, which makes it a common spot.

My yard slopes. Is that a problem?

The unit needs level ground so it won't tip. Pick the flattest firm spot, or tell us about the slope so the driver can help choose.

Can it go on grass?

Yes, on firm grass. Avoid soft, muddy or low spots that hold water after rain.

Can I give GPS coordinates for farmland with no address?

Yes. Send GPS coordinates or a dropped pin plus the nearest road, and describe the gate and spot for the driver.

What if my gate has a code?

Give us the gate code when you book and we'll pass it to the driver.

Can I move it myself after delivery?

Please don't move a unit once it has waste in it. Call us and we'll help reposition it safely.

Damage, locks and safety questions

If a rented unit is lost, burned, vandalized or tipped beyond normal wear, the renter pays for it. Every unit has a locking door with an occupied indicator, and a lock hasp is available for public or overnight sites. During hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, units should be strapped, staked or moved.

Can I lock it at night?

Yes. Ask for a lock hasp so you can padlock the unit on public or overnight sites.

What if someone tips it over?

Call us right away. Because damage beyond normal wear falls on the renter, a lock hasp and a protected spot are worth it.

What happens if a storm is coming?

Call us. Units should be on high, firm ground and strapped, staked or moved before storms. Read our hurricane season restroom tips.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes, with adult help for small children. The door locks from inside, and the occupied indicator shows when it's in use.

What can't go in the tank?

Only waste and toilet paper. Trash, diapers and wipes can block pumping.

Permit and rules questions

Porta potties on private property usually need no permit. Pasadena special events needing special accommodations apply to Parks and Recreation 45+ days ahead, and the form asks for restroom count and supplier emergency contact. Street placement should be confirmed with the City of Pasadena Permit Department at 713-475-5575.

Usually not on private property, which is where we place units by default. Street or public-property placement may need one.
