Who rents a portable toilet for an RV or camper site?
About 4 groups rent portable toilets for RV and camper use: families living in a camper on their own land, hunters on leases and deer camps, landowners hosting RV guests, and groups at campouts or rallies. In each case, a toilet outside the camper saves the small RV holding tank and cuts trips to a dump station.
An RV black tank fills fast with a full family. A portable toilet outside takes most of that load. The RV toilet is then saved for nights and bad weather.
On raw land with no plumbing, a serviced unit is often the only restroom for miles.
Which unit fits RV, camper and land use?
A standard unit fits most RV and camper sites, with weekly service on rentals of 7 days or more. Families with small kids often prefer a deluxe unit with a sink. Hunting camps with 4 to 10 hunters usually need 1 standard unit. Use the table below to match your situation.
| Situation | Suggested unit | Service | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Family living in a camper on property | Deluxe with sink, or standard | Weekly, included | 28-day cycle |
| Hunting lease or deer camp, season-long | Standard, with lock hasp | Weekly or as scheduled | 28-day cycle |
| Weekend hunt or campout | Standard | Delivered clean, no visit | Event rental |
| RV guests on your land, a few weeks | Standard plus handwashing station | Weekly, included | 28-day cycle |
| Family member using a wheelchair | Wheelchair-accessible (ADA-style) | Weekly, included | 28-day cycle |
| RV rally or group campout | Standard units by headcount | Extra visits for multi-day | Event rental |

How does a long-term rental work for a family in a camper?
A long-term camper toilet rental bills on a 28-day cycle, not a calendar month. Weekly service is included: we pump the tank, clean and sanitize, restock paper and sanitizer, and add fresh chemical. The rental renews until you call for pickup, and billing stops the day you request it.
The one-time delivery and pickup charge is billed with the first cycle only. After that, each 28-day cycle is the same. Pickup usually happens within 1–2 business days of your call.
Families waiting on a new home, a septic system or a well often rent this way. So do workers living on site for long projects. For home situations, see residential porta potty rental.
Big families can add a second weekly service. Ask us after the first week if the tank fills too fast.

What access does the truck need on rural land?
Our service truck needs a firm road or path about 10 feet wide, with no low wires or branches, and the unit must sit within about 15 feet of where the truck parks. Soft pasture, sandy tracks and creek crossings can stop a truck after heavy rain, so pick a spot near gravel or high ground.
- Place the unit by the gate road or the gravel pad, not deep in the trees.
- Send a pin drop or clear directions. Rural addresses can be hard to find.
- Leave the gate unlocked or share the code. Nobody needs to be there.
- Trim low limbs over the drive. The truck and unit are tall.
Leased land? Check with the owner before placing a unit. For long hunting seasons, see seasonal porta potty rentals.
Can you pump out my RV holding tank?
We service our own units weekly on rentals of 7 days or more. RV holding tank pump-outs are a different job: ask us, because they are available on scheduled routes in some areas. If your camper sits near a route we already run, we may be able to add it. Waste goes only to authorized disposal sites.
Texas requires waste haulers to be registered sludge transporters under TCEQ rules, 30 TAC Chapter 312. Learn more at the TCEQ sludge transporter page.
A portable toilet outside the camper is the simplest fix. It cuts how often your RV tank needs emptying in the first place.
How do I keep a camp toilet usable in heat and storms?
Place the unit in shade on firm, high ground, and plan extra service in summer, when July highs average about 93°F near Houston. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. Before a storm, strap or stake the unit, or call us to move it. Never leave it in a low spot that floods.
Heat speeds up odor. A second weekly service in July and August helps a full family a lot. Read more in our Houston heat servicing guide.
Wind can tip an unstrapped unit. The renter is responsible for tipping beyond normal wear, so staking is worth it.
How many units for an RV rally or group campout?
For an RV rally or campout, start with about 1 standard unit per 50 people for 4 hours, then add more for overnight stays. Campers use toilets all day, so multi-day rallies need extra units or service visits. Add 1 handwashing station per 4 units if the group cooks together.
For group events, call with your headcount and number of nights. We plan units and service stops so tanks never fill before the next visit.

RV and camper toilet questions
These RV and camper toilet questions come from families in campers, hunters and landowners. They cover cost, rural delivery, tank pump-outs and billing. Call 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with your land's location so we can confirm the route and delivery day.
We're living in our camper while we build. Can we rent a porta potty by the month?
Yes. Long-term units start from about $199 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time delivery and pickup charge of about $49–$99 by distance. Those camper-site figures are before tax.
Can you empty my RV black tank when you service the porta potty?
Ask us. RV tank pump-outs are available on scheduled routes in some areas. We always service our own units.
Will your truck make it down a dirt road to our deer camp?
Usually, if the road is firm and about 10 feet wide. After heavy rain, we may set the unit closer to the main road.
Can I lock it so nobody else on the lease uses it?
Yes. Ask for a lock hasp. It also helps at remote sites left empty during the week.
Do I have to be at the land when you deliver?
No. Mark the spot with a flag or ribbon, send directions, and leave the gate open or share the code.
How often will you come pump it out?
Once a week is included on rentals of 7 days or more. Large families or groups can add a second weekly visit.
Do you deliver out to Conroe or Beaumont for hunting land?
Yes, as scheduled delivery. Book 2–3 business days ahead. Next-day is sometimes possible, so call to check.
What do I do with it during a hurricane?
Strap or stake it on high ground, or call us to move it before the storm. Do not leave it in a low area that can flood.
When does billing stop if we move into the house early?
Billing stops the day you call for pickup. We usually pick up within 1–2 business days.
