What sizes of restroom trailers can I rent?
We rent restroom trailers in 3 sizes: 2-stall, 3-stall and 4-stall. A 2-stall trailer has a footprint of about 10 by 7 feet plus the tow tongue, and a waste tank of 200 gallons or more. The 3- and 4-stall trailers are longer. Exact size is confirmed on your quote.
| Trailer | Footprint | Layout | Common use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-stall | About 10 x 7 ft plus tongue | Two private rooms, each with toilet and sink | Backyard weddings, small corporate events |
| 3-stall | Longer than 2-stall; confirmed on quote | Three private stalls with sinks | Mid-size weddings, church events |
| 4-stall | Longest; confirmed on quote | Four private stalls with sinks | Larger receptions, VIP tents, office sites |
Every size has flushing toilets, sinks, lights and A/C. Each needs a standard 110V outlet. Some setups also need a water hookup.

What power does a restroom trailer need?
A restroom trailer needs a standard 110V outlet within reach of its cord. The power runs the lights, the fan, the water pump and the A/C. A dedicated circuit is safest, because sharing with coffee urns or speakers can trip a breaker. Tell us where the nearest outlet is when you call.
- Use an outdoor outlet on a house, barn, church or venue wall.
- Keep big loads like heaters and catering gear on other circuits.
- No outlet nearby? Plan a quiet generator and tell us before booking.
- Run cords where guests will not trip on them.
Does a restroom trailer need a water hookup?
Some restroom trailers need a water hookup and some do not. A trailer with a fresh water tank can run a short event without a hose. Rentals over 1 day or busy events may need a garden hose connection to a spigot. We confirm which setup applies on your quote, so there are no surprises on delivery day.
If you have a spigot, keep a standard garden hose ready. If not, say so on the call. We plan the right tank and service schedule around it.
How much space and how level must the ground be?
A 2-stall restroom trailer needs about 10 by 7 feet for the trailer, plus room for the tongue, the steps and a towing truck to back in. The truck needs a clear path about 10 feet wide with no low wires or branches. Ground must be firm and close to level.
A slight slope can be leveled at setup. A steep yard, soft mud or a ditch cannot. Soggy lawns after heavy rain are the most common problem in the Houston area.
The steps need a flat landing. Guests in dress shoes will use them in the dark, so plan a path and some light.
Backyard gates rarely work. Most trailers sit in a driveway, side lot or parking area.

What happens on setup day?
Restroom trailer setup takes 6 steps, from the driver's call about 30 minutes ahead to a final walk-through. Drivers run 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a Saturday or Sunday event, we usually deliver Friday and pick up Monday at no extra day charge, so setup never rushes your event.
- Driver calls. About 30 minutes before arrival.
- Back in and place. The trailer goes on the marked spot.
- Level and chock. The driver levels the trailer and sets the steps.
- Power on. Plug into your 110V outlet and test lights, pump and A/C.
- Water on. Connect the hose if your setup needs one.
- Walk-through. We show you the switches and the thermostat.
How do I pair a trailer with porta potties?
Many hosts use a restroom trailer for the bridal party, VIP guests or older guests, then add standard units for the main crowd. Size the crowd with our chart: about 1 standard unit per 50 guests for a 4-hour event. Add 1 unit for every 4 when a bar is open.
This keeps lines short without renting a giant trailer. Set the porta potties near the parking or dance floor. Keep the trailer near the tent. For upscale single units in VIP areas, see VIP and luxury porta potties.
Trailer stalls have steps. If any guest uses a wheelchair, add a wheelchair-accessible (ADA-style) unit.
When is a restroom trailer the wrong choice?
A restroom trailer is the wrong choice in at least 5 cases: no power you can reach, no truck access, steep or soggy ground, a jobsite crew, or a small backyard party where 1 unit is enough. In those cases, a deluxe porta potty with a sink usually does the job for less.
- No 110V power. Without an outlet or generator, there are no lights, pump or A/C.
- Tight access. A trailer cannot squeeze through a gate or narrow alley.
- Bad ground. Steep slopes and mud make leveling unsafe.
- Jobsites. Crews do better with construction site toilets serviced weekly.
- Small parties. The deluxe porta potty gives a flush and sink in one small unit.

Restroom trailer questions
These restroom trailer questions are the ones bathroom trailer callers ask before they book. They cover price, power, water, timing and space. Trailers are limited, so call 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, to check your date. Online quotes are answered within 1 business hour.
How much does a bathroom trailer cost for a wedding weekend?
A 2-stall restroom trailer starts from about $1,500 per weekend. 3- and 4-stall trailers cost more. Those figures are before tax and assume the venue has a standard 110V outlet.
Can I plug the trailer into a regular outlet?
Yes. It needs a standard 110V outlet. Use a circuit without other big loads so the breaker does not trip during the event.
Do I have to have a water spigot?
Not always. Some setups run on an onboard tank. Others need a garden hose. We tell you which before delivery.
How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer?
Book as early as you can, especially for spring and fall Saturdays. Far cities need at least 2–3 business days of notice for scheduled delivery.
Will the trailer fit in my backyard?
Usually only if a truck can drive in. Most trailers go in a driveway, side lot or parking area on firm, near-level ground.
Is the A/C strong enough for a Houston summer?
The trailers have A/C built in. Keep the doors closed between guests and park in shade if you can. July highs average about 93°F here.
Is a restroom trailer wheelchair accessible?
Our standard trailers have steps. Add a wheelchair-accessible (ADA-style) unit for guests who cannot use steps.
When do you drop off and pick up for a Saturday wedding?
Usually Friday delivery and Monday pickup, at no extra day charge. We do not deliver or pick up on Sunday.
Can I rent a 4-stall trailer for an office for a few months?
Yes. Long rentals bill on a 28-day cycle with scheduled service. Call for a long-term quote based on your site and usage.
