How do you handle porta potties in Houston summer heat?
Summer heat at Houston Hobby averages 92.9°F for a July high, and heat speeds up odor and fills tanks faster as people drink more water. Pasadena Porta Potty Rentals suggests a second weekly service visit for busy summer sites. Placing units in shade and facing vents away from walls also helps.
- Add 2x/week service for camps, pools and big crews
- Place units under trees or beside a building's shady side
- Keep doors closed and lids down between uses
- Add a hand wash station for summer camps and food stands

What should I do with a rental unit when a hurricane is coming?
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and a rental unit can tip or blow over in high wind. Before a storm, place units on high, firm ground, then stake or strap them, or call us to remove them early. Call as soon as a storm is in the forecast, because trucks book up fast.
- Watch the forecast. Call us when your area enters the storm's forecast path.
- Choose stake, strap or pickup. We can secure units or pick them up, depending on truck time.
- Move units off low ground. Keep them away from ditches and spots that flood.
- Call after the storm. Once roads open, we check, upright or replace units.
Our crews do not drive during unsafe storm conditions. Plan ahead; the renter is responsible for tipping or loss beyond normal wear. See our hurricane season restroom guide.
Can I get a porta potty after a storm knocks out water or sewer?
Post-storm porta potty rentals help homes, churches and businesses when water or sewer service is out after a flood or hurricane. Once roads are open, call by 12 p.m. (noon), Monday–Saturday, for possible same-day delivery within about 25 miles. Demand spikes after big storms, so call early in the day.
Recovery crews and roofers also need units on job sites. Our construction site toilets page covers crew counts.
Can we rent porta potties for a whole youth sports season?
Youth soccer, baseball and softball leagues can rent units for a whole spring or fall season on a 28-day cycle with weekly service. A typical spring season runs 3 to 4 cycles. We set service for Friday or Saturday morning, so units are fresh for game days, and billing stops the day you call for pickup.
- 1 standard unit per field cluster, more for tournaments
- 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for public fields
- Hand wash station near the concession stand
- Lock hasp for weeknights when fields are empty
Tournament weekends can add short-term units on top of your season units. See the long-term rental page for a worked billing example.

What about fall festivals, football and holiday events?
Fall and holiday events fill our calendar from September through December. Church fall festivals, trunk-or-treat nights, high school football tailgates, holiday markets and family gatherings all book in this window. Saturday and Sunday events get Friday delivery and Monday pickup at no extra day charge, so book 2 to 3 weeks ahead.
Football tailgates and home-game crowds often need units for every Friday night in the season. A 28-day rental with weekly service can cover the whole stretch more simply than booking each game. Large fall fairs are covered on our festival porta potty page.
Holiday weeks can change our schedule. Book early for events near Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
Which rentals fit each Houston season?
Seasonal renters usually look at 3 more pages before they book. These cover long-term 28-day cycles for whole sports seasons, festival sizing for fall events and short rentals for single holiday weekends, plus 1 guide on storm prep for hurricane season.

Seasonal porta potty questions
League parents, church staff, park managers and homeowners ask us these 9 seasonal questions most. The answers cover season-long cost, game-day service, storms, flood recovery, summer heat, holidays and booking ahead. Call (713) 980-2688 with your season start and end dates to reserve units.
How much is a porta potty for our whole baseball season?
A standard unit starts at about $199 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time delivery and pickup charge of about $49–$99 in the first cycle. A 3–4 cycle season multiplies the cycle rate, but the trip charge is paid once. All of it is before tax.
Can you service it Saturday morning before games?
Yes. We set Friday or Saturday service for most sports fields so units are fresh for game day.
A storm's coming. Will you come get the porta john?
Call as early as you can. We pick up or secure units in the order calls come in, and only while roads are safe.
Who pays if the hurricane knocks it over?
The renter is responsible for loss or tipping beyond normal wear. Staking, strapping or early pickup lowers that risk.
Our water's out after the flood. Can you bring one today?
Possibly. Call by noon, Monday–Saturday; if roads are open and a truck is free, we can deliver within about 25 miles. A rush fee may apply.
Does it stink worse in the summer?
Heat speeds up odor, so busy summer sites should add a second weekly service. Shade and closed lids help a lot.
When should we book for our church fall festival?
Book 2–3 weeks ahead for September through November weekends. Popular dates fill early.
Can we keep it over Christmas for family staying with us?
Yes. Rentals of 7 days or longer include weekly service. Book early, since holiday weeks can shift our schedule.
Do you deliver on Sunday for weekend tournaments?
No. We deliver Monday through Saturday. Weekend tournaments get Friday delivery and Monday pickup.
